Martha Effinger, Associate
Martha Effinger focuses her practice on estate planning and estate administration, as well as business transactions, including entity formation and management. She assists clients with the preparation of Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, and Advance Medical Directives. She also assists families with probate and trust administration matters.
Born and raised in Talbot County, Martha attended Saints Peter and Paul School and in 2014 graduated with honors from Towson University. In 2019, Martha graduated magna cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she was publications editor of the University of Baltimore Law Review, a member of the Royal Graham Shannonhouse III Honor Society, and a student attorney with the University of Baltimore Community Development Clinic. During law school Martha was a judicial intern with the Honorable Stephen H. Kehoe, in the Circuit Court for Talbot County.
Martha was recognized by What’s Up Eastern Shore as an Up & Coming Lawyer in 2021. She has was also nominated as a Woman to Watch in the 2024 Mid-Shore Women to Watch issue by APG Media of Chesapeake.
