Amber Lyles, Associate

Amber focuses her practice on the areas of civil litigation, estate planning, and estate administration. Amber’s civil litigation practice includes contract disputes, business-related torts, labor and employment disputes, estate and probate litigation, and appellate advocacy.

Amber was born and raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Paralegal Studies from Stevenson University in 2014 before attending Florida International University College of Law where she served as President of the Moot Court Team and graduated cum laude in 2017. Amber returned to the Eastern Shore of Maryland after obtaining her law degree, where she now resides with her husband and two small children.

Amber served as a judicial law clerk to the administrative and visiting judges serving the Circuit Court for Caroline County, Maryland from 2017-2019. In 2019, Amber was then recruited as an Assistant State’s Attorney for the Office of the State’s Attorney for Caroline County, Maryland. While serving as an ASA, Amber prosecuted hundreds of criminal cases in the District and Circuit Courts in Caroline County before both judges and juries. In 2021, Amber became a business and litigation associate at a mid-sized law firm in Annapolis where she practiced before joining Parker Counts in February of 2025.

Amber has been recognized as a Super Lawyers: Rising Star for years 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026. She has also been acknowledged as Best Lawyers: One to Watch for years 2024, 2025, and 2026.
